This is the second post I have to make today: I found this article about Vincent's Mad Men at "The Envelop" @ Los Angeles Times. It doesn't have any actual news in it, more some general comments on the quality of the show:

The first season of Vincent's Mad Men will be aired on Canadian TV from June 8, 2008. The article provides a short description of the show, tells the schedule and mentions most awards but Vincent's. I think, it's time for AMC to sell the show to Germany :-)))

Neid :-)

According to AMC "...Mad Men has officially moved from the planning stage into reality this week with the beginning of production in Los Angeles. The series which will be broadcast in both high definition and standard definition will make its bow this July. While series creator Matthew Weiner has been customarily coy about divulging potential plots points for the upcoming season, he has revealed that John Slattery will be returning to the show as Roger Sterling..."

I'm really curios about that, because Vincent told us, that he will have a new boss in the next season, what wasn't actually surprising, considering what happened in Episode 13. So will RS appear as an adviser? He still owes the place as much as Cooper does, so he might show up once in a while in and gave the new boss and everybody else but Don a hard time? Could be interesting :-)))

I posted yesterday about a Vincent Kartheiser scene from Mad Men's episode 1.13 The Wheel which was claimed by AMC as been deleted. But obviously some of had seen it, so today I found at Worldpress the explanations for it: According to Roberta Lipp this scene was only shown at the premiere airing of this episode and cut out later. And this didn't happen only one time, so this is a quote of what she wrote in her blog:

So to be clear, this scene did air in the premiere airing of The Wheel. I remember it well. AMC simply edited it out for every subsequent viewing. And other things. There are lines missing from that episode as well. Every single episode that we are currently watching (unless you’re getting them through iTunes or you are watching from the very first run, but only the 10pm run and not the 11pm “encore” presentation) is already butchered.

Ok, that means for all of us that if we have "taped" the first airing we should hold on to it no matter if we buy the DVDs or not

Kartheiser_grl posted yesterday, that there is a clip on youtube which shows an Interview with Vincent Kartheiser focusing on Mad Men, Angel and the appearance of clips with him on youtube. The talk was hold by BBC4 and only accessible for UK people. Well, I managed to download it as a flv-file and uploaded it to my German Website, so here it is! It's about 3:30 minutes long and has a size of 10 MB. Of course you need a flv-player of your choise compatible to your computers operating system to watch it. You're welcome to download it, you can do it using the "Download flv-file" link or clicking on the picture below.

So enjoy it :-)))

While I was looking for a way to download the lastest interview clip with Vincent Kartheiser - the one Kartheiser_grl was referring too today - I found a little 30 second Clip in which he's advertising Mad Men for BBC4. It's a flash clip, so you need a player for *.flv files to watch it. I give you direct link to download it: Download link
