Merlinmaus underwater :-) After being sick for almost 7 weeks with pneumonia, I started a careful recovery program with spending time in the nature and finally testing the underwater functions of my new camera. Of course the sight in German (freshwater) seas isn't as good as for example in the Red Sea, but it was good enough for testing:Haltern (NRW) Germany, 2008/07/30
Of course I had to go in the water first... and it was only 20 Degrees Celsius "warm", so I needed some time to succeed ;-) The sight under water less then 2 meters because of the algae, so taking any pictures was pointless. The quality of the clip taken outside the water was brilliant, but I had to downsize it for youtube and they finally killed it :-)For the non-Germans: I'm making fun about how cold the water is and long it might take for me to start snorkeling. My friend asks, how big the memory of the camera is (2GB) and I finally relax after getting used to the water temperature. I guess, you all understand the giggles :-)

The sight in this sea was better, therefor my friend took a couple of pictures of me snorkeling and I did some photos of the local fish population.( More Merlinmaus & Fish pics )
