Don't forget to vote for your favorite actors, actresses and movies for the Peoples Choice Awards 2010. The good thing is, if you don't like to vote in a certain category, you can skip it. The bad thing is, that some categories, e.g. Favorite SciFi & Fantasy show only can be votes by texting via phone - and only from the US. So I can't vote for Heroes :-( But I could vote for Zachary Quinto, Zoe Zaldana, Star Trek and True Blood :-D

Vergesst nicht, fuer Eure Lieblingsschauspieler, -schauspielerinnen und Filme bei den Peoples Choice Awards 2010 zu voten. Ihr habt dabei die Moeglichkeit die Kategorien zu ueberspringen, in denen Ihr nicht abstimmen wollt. Bloederweise kann in einigen Bereichen, wie beispielsweise bei den Favorite SciFi & Fantasy Shows nur per SMS mitgestimmt werden - und auch nur von den USA aus.  I'm back to work after 3 days celebrating my birthday, and I can tell you, I'm tired! But it was worth it :-) Most of my friends don't like it, when I upload pictures with them on the net, therefore I can only share one with me and some cute post-Halloween-Muffins some girl made me as a gift:

Die Maus hat jetzt 3 Tage lang ihren Geburtstag (mit viel Star Trek!) gefeiert und ist müde! Heute wird vermutlich nicht mein erfolgreichster Arbeitstag aller Zeiten sein, aber ich werde mir Mühe geben ;-) Da es die meisten meiner Leute nicht mögen, wenn Bilder von ihnen im Internet landen, habe deshalb nur eins mit mir hochgeladen - die Nach-Halloween-Muffins waren ein Geschenk gewesen:

Today I start the celebrating of my birthday and as always it will last 3 days :-) As a very special gift I received the German Star Trek Special edition a week ago, but lend it to a friend of mine. But today I have it back and I watched my favorite movie of the year a 18th time :-)
The first group of my friends will arrive in 2 hours, so I better start cooking! Today it's just a "normal" party, but tomorrow everything will be about Star Trek:-)

Die Maus hat heute Geburtstag und sich zur Feier des Tages die neue Star Trek DVD gegönnt - jetzt habe ich den Film das 18. Mal gesehen :-) Ich werde wie jedes Jahr 3 Tage feiern, heute und Sonntag ganz normal, morgen jedoch gibt es eine Star Trek Party.
So langsam muß ich mich ans Kochen machen, meine Gäste treffen in etwa 2 Std ein :-)

We lucky guys in Germany already HAVE the Star Trek DVDs and Blue Rays since last saturday!

I like the episode in general, especially Claire's response to Gretchens feelings. She's really becoming a grown-up. The scenes between Sylar and Matt were fun to watch, although I find the "just evil" Sylar not as interesting as the more twisted one. I didn't need the Jeremy part, but I understand that is was essential for the "Save Hiro" story line.
As always I'm looking forward how it will continue.

Last, but not least: sex scene with Sylar - so hot!!!

Trekmovie.com reported yesterday, that the new Star Trek movie wins the Hollywood Movie Award for Best movie 2009. Zachary Quinto was there to accept the Award in behalf of the cast & crew.

Zachary himself was honored with the Spotlight Award for 2009. Congratulations!


 Trekmovie.com hat gestern berichtet, daß der neue Star Trek Film den Hollywood Movie Award for Best movie 2009 gewonnen hat.  Zachary Quinto hat den Preis stellvertretend in Empfang genommen.

Zachary selbst ist zusätzlich mit dem Spotlight Award for 2009 ausgezeichnet worden. Gratulation!

I received my new Macbook Pro for work at the science institute and I LOVE IT! Seriously, it's as functional as beautiful :-) Besides all the other gimmicks you usually enjoy using Macs, the keyboard has some lights behind the keys, so you can easily type when it's dark. 


Ich genisse gerade mal wieder mein neues Macbook Pro! neben all den netten Mac-Spielereien, die man ja irgendwo erwartet, hat es eine von hinten beleuchtete Tastatur, so daß man wunderbar im Dunkeln schreiben kann! ICH LIEBE ES!!!

Again, I love what they do with Sylar, continuing in making the character more and more complex every week. Zachary Quintos performance is terrific as always. I'm wondering, how much Nathan is still inside him and I'm curious, what his reaction will be, when he finds out, that he's been used again... I really, really love that he not killed Lubbock. Was that the Nathan in him? Or was it what was left of Gabriel?

Besides that, I like the more adult relationship between Claire and her dad too, although I regret that they did not tell us, what how and if the friendship between her and Gretchen will evolve.

Und wieder gefällt mir ganz besonders, was sie mit Sylar tun, sein Charakter wird wirklich jede Woche mehr und mehr komplex. Wo das wohl noch hinführt? Ich frage mich auch, wie viele Nathan noch in ihm ist. Welcher Teil ist dafür verantwortlich, daß er Lubbock nicht getötet hat? War es Gabriel? Wie üblich ist Zachary Quintos Performance einfach unglaublich.

Ebenso gut gefällt mir die Entwicklung zwischen Claire und ihrem Vater. Ein bißchen schade fand ich, daß wir noch nicht erfahren haben, wie es zwischen ihr und Gretchen nach ihrem Kuß weitergeht...

A very special friend of mine just send me this screenshots from Supernatural's episode The End, which we both love for all sort of reasons. They are mostly from our favorite scene at the end of the ep, when Dean and the possessed Sam confront each other. It was beautifully written and the acting was just marvelous!

Eine ganz besondere Freundin hat mir einige Screencaps von unseren Lieblingsszenen aus Supernatural The End zugeschickt, ich habe ein paar davon hier hochgeladen. Die Folge war mal wieder wunderbar geschrieben und herausragend gespielt und geschnitten :-)

I just re-watched NBC's recent episode of Heroes, Volume 5: Chapter four Hysterical Blindness, and I must admit that I liked it very much. Being a fan of Zachary's Quinto's Sylar, I enjoyed seeing his part becomes more and more interesting. I was never very fond of plain evil characters and I like the turns and insights they started given us over the last 2 volumes. Now Sylar lost his memory completely and I look forward how he will get it back and what his reaction will be, when he find out, that he is (or was?) a serial killer.
Favorite Scene: the dialog between Sylar and Madeline, when he tries to explain, how new, scary and beautiful everything is :-D

Die derzeitige Entwicklung in Heroes gefällt mir wirklich gut, ich war nie ein wirklich großer Fan der Serie, doch das hat sich bei Volume 3 geändert :-) Mir gefällt es sehr viel besser, wenn die Figuren vielschichtiger angelegt sind und nicht so einseitig hell oder dunkel. Vor allem Sylar Gedächtnisverlust macht mir Spaß, ich bin schon gespannt, wie sie ihen reagieren lassen, wenn er herausfindet, daß er ein Serienkiller ist :-) Wenigstens wird der Charakter so Zachary's Quinto's schauspielerischen Fähigkeiten gerecht ;-)

I just read at Spiegel Online that Barack Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize! This IS a reason to celebrate! I hope this will help him to get more support for his health projects in the US.

Gerade wurde bei Spiegel Online veröffentlicht, daß Barack Obama der Friedensnobelpreis verliehen wurde. Wenn das kein Grund zum Feiern ist!
Wenn ich daran denke, wie ich am 04.11. seine Wahl zum amerikanischen Präsidenten gefeiert habe... Hoffentlich bekommt er jetzt wieder mehr Unterstützung für seine Reformprojekte im eigenen Land

Die Maus fliegt morgen zu nachtschlafender Zeit für 2 Wochen nach Ägypten zum Tauchen und Schnorcheln :-) Ich hoffe, ich sehe und höre einige von Euch wieder, wenn ich zurück bin. Dis dahin: Eine gute zeit für Euch alle!

Again I have to sell 3 of my Chinchillas, Zone, Jo & Stark (and yes, I've watched Eureka at that time :-) ) they are about 4 month old now and need to find their place in the world. Keep you fingers crossed that they find some nice place :-)

Mal wieder suchen 3 meiner Chinchilla-Knäule (Zane, Jo & Stark, benannt nach Eureka-Helden :-) ) eine neues Zuhause. OK, mit 4 Monaten sind sie nun keine echten Babies mehr, aber trotzdem ;-) Drücken wir also die Daumen und hoffen wir, daß sie liebevolle, neue Eltern finden :-)
